Pesta Tanglung KL 2009
26th September 2009 – It has been a few years since I have really taken time out for a casual outing on a public event. Doing so really brought up the excitement of photography to me again. The event was an effort by DBKL and the BN government and was officially opened by our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd. Najib Tun Abdul Razak. It was the first time ever for the government to officially organise such an event to celebrate the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival @ Lantern Festival/Mooncake Festival. My approach for the night was to capture some details of the surrounding, people and performances to potray the atmosphere. The experience was great and I am certain that I will again pick-up my camera for such a public event in the near future.
