Morris & Sam (KL Reception Dinner)
After a number of month after their ROM, it was time for their KL Reception Dinner. It was held at the ballroom of Concorde Hotel KL. There are some familiar faces among the crowd, which I have meet before in their ROM. Another friend, Shee Wee was performing on stage on that night. The games are hilarious, there was lots of good captures in the event.
Kenny & Doreen
I first met Kenny in Alan and Jessica’s wedding. He was their uncle and helped out in videographing the event. I am greatful that he liked my work and engaged me to cover his wedding.
Doreen is also a friendly person. She was cheerful throughout the whole event. The photographs in her room turned out fine with a great deal of natural light from the early morning sun. The cute little dog (Twinkle if I recall correctly) also added some joy to the atmosphere.
The Holy Matrimony later took place at the PJ Catholic Church. It was a modest ceremony with relatives from across regions. As they walked out of the church as husband and wife, they were warmly congratulated and later hugged by family members and friends outside the church. They couple later head back to Doreen’s house for a tea ceremony.
I would like to thank Kenny and Doreen for engaging me as their wedding day photographer. Also thanks to Kenny for the coffee!

Alan & Kynn
Alan and Kynn, I met them in person for the first time just a day or two before their actual wedding day. We previously communicated through email and phone as they are working in Johor. The morning event was slightly simpler than the rest because there was no tea ceremony on the bride’s side. The bride’s family members and friends came over to KL and stayed in a service apartment here.
There was a number of interesting games played, the brothers and sisters were very sporting. There could be a possibility that Alan is a money trader, we saw all sorts of currency being used as trade to overcome the obstacles. The sisters was a fun bunch, all dressed up in pink. Once the torture was done, we headed over to the groom’s house for tea ceremony. On the bride’s request, we ended the morning session by taking a few fun posed photographes in a park nearby the service apartment.
The wedding reception dinner was held at a restaurant in Times Square later in the evening. Thanks to both of you for letting me cover your wedding day

Chany & Suzanne
I was there early for this assignment, the view of Sunway Lagoon early in the morning from Suzanne’s condominium was breathtaking. Chany arrived in a fleet of Mercedes Benz, with hilarious games played throughout the event. There were physical push-ups, exotic food eating competition, guessing games, singing competition, etc. No major casualty was reported after the exercise. A tea ceremony followed immediately after the games. We later headed to Chany’s home at Subang Heights, the bungalow was huge and beautiful. A tea ceremony was held there. I later found out that Chany has done an excellent job creating the sign board for his proposal, he is such a romantic person.
The reception dinner was held at Sunway Convention Center later in the evening. The setup was beautiful, however the high ceiling drained almost all the juices from both of my flashes. I would like to thank both of them for letting me cover their wedding as the official photographer.
Hong Jin & Cheng Cheng
Even though ROM is a moderate event, it carries no less significance than actual wedding day. For Cheng Cheng and Hong Jin, this day signifies a new chapter in their lives. The event span throughout the day with a morning preparation and marriage registration in the temple and followed by a private function in a local hotel in the evening. There are a number of interesting posed shots in the album, and my best wishes to the couple.
Alan & Jessica
It has been a while since I have covered a church wedding. I have long wished to photograph weddings in traditional acrhitectured churches and indeed the wish came true.
The event started early in the morning when I arrived at groom and bride’s apartment in Taman Desa. The normal process of make-up and preparation went smoothly with a fair amount of natural light from the window. Once done, I headed to the Holy Rosary Church in Brickfields. The architecture of the church was superb! The colourful stained glasses and windows offer a great deal of natural light into the Church. However, the rules are strict, no photographing while the Sacrament of Holy Communion is on. Jessica walked in elegantly with her dad along the aisle while Alan waited at the other end with his best man brother and you know the rest… Yes I do … husband and wife…:).
There was a tea ceremony right after that and the session closing was a beautiful one with Alan and Jessica posing in front of the church. The wedding reception was held in a restaurant in Mid Valley later in the evening. I would like to thank both of them for giving me the great honour to cover their memorable wedding.

Expecting
My friend called me up on a Friday evening to find out either I am available to capture pregnancy photographs of his wife. This is the first time I have received such a request. Initially, I was unable to make it but a canceled trip has made this possible on the following weekend. It all turned out absolutely fine, in fact better than expected. The couple has a beautiful house in Putra Heights, location where all the shots were taken. A combination of available lighting and CLS (Creative Lighting System by Nikon) had been utilised for all the shots. Some of these photos will be available soon in a local published magazine.
